'Dad wasn't thrilled': Neglected 31-year-old daughter teams up with sisters for petty payback at Dad's new wedding, dyeing hair blue to ruin family photos

Some family wounds never heal. Sure, it's inevitable that most kids will grow up to resent their parents in some way, shape, or form, but there is a basic level of resentment that people develop, and then there is the level of resentment that truly neglected kids develop. That's a totally different ballgame.

These fractured dynamics tend to resurface at large family gatherings. It could be Thanksgiving, it could be a reunion, and it definitely could be at a wedding. In fact, that lattermost setting is perhaps the most common backdrop for these bottled-up emotions to explode like Pandora's box. 

Here is a tale of a group of sisters who made their dad's new wedding festivities the perfect place to enact some well-deserved petty revenge!

  • These sisters were all in their 30s now, and it was not the first time their father suddenly announced that he was getting remarried yet again. None of the sisters wanted to go, but when they found out that they were all discouraged from wearing blue because his new stepkids, who were a part of his wedding party, were going to be wearing that color, these sisters came up with a plan. 

    The best part is that not only did they all wear identical dresses of that color, but they also dyed their hair, since their father made it clear that dyed hair would ruin family wedding photos. Our guess is that he was less than pleased when he saw his daughters stroll up to pictures looking like a female version of Blue Man Group!
